We are now looking at university and UCAS. In order to apply for university you must create a UCAS account and upload information about your education history, grades, qualification, employment and your university choices. To show that I have gone through UCAS I will show you my finance code, qualifications and university choices.
Finance code:
The finance code is used to show universities how you intend to pay for your accommodation and and tuition. For me I have chosen option 2 as I am a citizen of the UK and I chose West Sussex’ services as that is the county I live in. As well as this I can’t afford student loans privately.

Qualifications:
The next step was putting my grades and qualifications I have. I put in my GCSEs and both my diploma and extended diploma. The only qualification here that doesn’t have a grade attached yet is my extended diploma as I haven’t completed the qualification at the time of writing this post.
In order for universities to understand the grades you are expected and how well you will do at university is decided upon by your grades.

University choices:
The final part was university choices , I have added five university choices that offer concept art, game art or illustration. Some are local and some are up North which would require me to move out. I have already arranged open days for some of the universities and I am still looking into the open days I would like to attend. It is a scary but exciting process overall. All the options include the needed course codes and campus information. At the moment none of these courses have been arranged as first to last choice.

UCAS has a check list up in the left hand corner of the screen. Apart from sending it off (as of writing this), everything is done apart from sending it off (The current statement has been uploaded but the tick hasn’t appeared on the list).
